Turkish Airlines has announced that it plans to pay damages to all of the passengers on the plane that crashed at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport last week. Until now the airline had only announced payments for those who were injured and the families of those who died in the crash.

Turkish Airlines now says it intends to pay at least 5,000 euros to passengers, 10,000 to the injured and 50,000 to the families of those who died. A number of passengers have already sought legal counsel and in the Netherlands preparations are being made to set up an association of victims with the aim of taking collective action against the airline.
